Main banking hours are 9:15 - 16:00 Monday through Friday. Banks are generally closed on Saturdays and Sundays, but some outlets especially in shopping malls are open weekends.
The legal time in Iceland is GMT in summer (from last Sunday in March to last Sunday in October) and GMT + 1 in winter.
