Act No. 108/2007 on Securities Transactions, is the Icelandic law implementing MiFID and other EC Directives on trading of securities.
Trading of listed shares is regulated by Act No 110/2007 on Stock Exchanges as well as by Act No. 108/2007.
Only banks and securities companies are allowed to trade securites.
